Lake Tahoe Diving & Environmental provides new mooring installations for private waterfront properties, marinas, homeowners associations, and commercial operators throughout Lake Tahoe.
Our installations can include the mooring anchor block, chain, shackles, swivel, buoy, and complete underwater placement. We use the Sand Dollar work vessel and onboard crane when appropriate for transporting and setting mooring equipment.
Complete Mooring Installations
We provide installation services that include:
- New concrete mooring anchor blocks.
- Chain and connecting hardware.
- Shackles, swivels, and related components.
- Mooring buoys and collars.
- Underwater placement and final alignment.
- Replacement or relocation of existing mooring systems when authorized.

Before installation, we review the proposed location, water depth, shoreline access, vessel requirements, and available project information.
Required authorizations and permits must be confirmed before installation.
Mooring Blocks & Equipment
LTDE works with concrete mooring blocks, chain, connecting hardware, and buoy systems suited to the particular installation.
The Sand Dollar provides water-based transportation, crane support, and access to mooring locations throughout the lake.
Existing Mooring Systems
If an existing mooring requires replacement, relocation, or repair rather than a complete new installation, we can evaluate the existing components and recommend an appropriate scope of work.
