LAKE TAHOE MOORING INSPECTIONS
Underwater Mooring Inspections & Condition Reporting
Lake Tahoe Diving & Environmental performs underwater mooring inspections for private property owners, marinas, homeowners associations, and commercial mooring fields.
Our inspections document the visible condition of submerged mooring components and help owners identify deterioration, damage, and potential maintenance needs.
What We Inspect
Depending on the system configuration and available access, a mooring inspection may include:
- Concrete anchor block and attachment point.
- Mooring chain and visible wear.
- Shackles, swivels, and connecting hardware.
- Underwater buoy connections.
- Mooring line and associated components.
- Position and apparent alignment.
- Visible damage, corrosion, abrasion, or deterioration.
Inspection findings are based on conditions observable at the time of service.
Individual Mooring Inspections
We inspect single moorings at private waterfront properties and provide owners with relevant findings and repair recommendations when needed.
Marina & Mooring Field Inspections
For properties with multiple moorings, LTDE can organize inspection work by mooring location or identification number.
Reports can document component conditions, maintenance requirements, and identified concerns across an entire field.
Inspection Reports & Recommended Repairs
We provide reporting appropriate to the scope of work, including photographic documentation of significant conditions when needed.
If repairs are identified, we can evaluate the necessary replacement parts and underwater work.
Request a Mooring Inspection
Provide the property or mooring field location, approximate mooring count, existing identification information, and any known concerns.
